It
requires character not to be defined by one’s losses. Because if not, then you
turn out a very sour, bitter fruit. Don’t allow the loss, the rape, the plunder
to define you. Growing with a feeling of victimhood is gross self-injury. A
degradation. It’s better to be defined by life and hope beyond that wound.
