As the
22-month-long pregnancy nears its end, the female African elephant starts
eating Boraginaceae plant leaves to
induce labor. Has anyone taught the elephants about it? No. There is natural
intelligence. It pervades around in sync with natural laws. It guides natural
processes across the species.
