Overall,
the sum of pain, suffering, unhappiness, agony, tragedies in life—both
individual and collective as a species—is far greater than the sum of happiness
and joy. Happiness is almost like a few diamonds in a deep coal mine; the
shying crystals hidden deep in the womb of tons of mud, rock, earth, stones and
coal. But that’s why we dig a mine. And exactly for the same reason we live; we
dig the deep mine of life unearthing pain and miseries to finally reach the few
crystals of joy. We walk through the darkest pits because we expect that life
will someday get filled with color and joy.
