A creation is bigger than the creator

 

I’m smaller than what I create—writing, art, good deeds, smile, positivity, architecture, innovation, discovery. Because I’m just a facilitator, a conduit, a mere humble means to a little end. I represent something indirectly; a mere reflector of it—light. But I’m bigger than my wrongs, moral lapses, negativity, hate, greed and harm. Because now I directly represent something—darkness. I’m liable to be judged by others (and by myself) as the bearer (not just representative) of that darkness.
