Superstition--the great leveler

 

Superstitions will have easy takers among the people of different nationalities, races, religions, ethnicities, classes, castes. We will easily fight over different gods and geographies. But when it comes to superstitions we drop the guard. A Hindu will take Muslim superstitions to ward off the evil eye. Because all of us carry the same primal fear. In the brotherhood of fear, we are just the same little children. It’s the same reaction. Like a well-organized and tidy person of any religion or nationality winces with the same reaction after cutting on the soft inside of his cheek.
