Astrology: The shaky, semi-art and smart craft

 

Nostradamus… Baba Venga… What to say about their predictions? In my humble opinion, which is inspired by what great Osho said on the subject, it’s about recognizing the cyclic pattern of major types of events and the chief types of characters involved in them. It would obviously fit with later events and the people involved in bringing them into effect.

See, there is a cyclical pattern in wars, like small wars occurring after so many years and bigger wars happening after roughly a particular number of smaller cycles of time. And all the violent leaders have a particular type of personality, which can be easily guessed because all of them are cut from the same fabric.

So these so-called future forecasters, they don’t have godly insights to see things in advance. They have practical knowledge of the cyclical pattern of major types of events and the mind and personality types of the leaders who get engaged in these events. So obviously what they forecast in advance will have some matching with the events that follow and the leaders involved in them. It’s a very practical art or rather skill.

The same goes for all astrologers and the science of astrology.
